Becoming a member
If you’re considering joining please come along to a meeting as a guest and experience the club for yourself.
We don’t charge a guest fee and you’re welcome to come along to up to three meetings before making your mind up.
Attending as a guest
At your first meeting you won’t be expected to give a speech. The Toastmaster of the Evening will walk through the program at the start and things will be explained as the meeting progresses. You may be invited to join in with our impromptu speaking session, but this is entirely optional and you’re very welcome to sit and observe if you prefer.
Feeling nervous?
We understand that coming to a club, to do what you fear, can be very daunting. Although you may see some very confident speakers in the meeting, many of us remember being extremely nervous at our first meeting too, and we always aim to be as supportive to guests and new members as others have been to us.

Joining costs
There is a £25 joining fee for those new to Toastmasters plus six-monthly dues equating to £12/month.
Our Treasurer and VP Membership will be able to provide more detailed explanation of costs and the membership process at the meeting.
Already a member/lapsed member of Toastmasters International?
We welcome visitors from other clubs and members who may have let their membership lapse and are looking for a new Toastmasters home. We believe we have a vibrant club with many opportunities for all levels of experience. Please come along and give us a look.
